Hong Kong research indicates that more than 40-69% of cancer patients seek consultation with traditional Chinese medicine. Integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment is one of the options for many patients.
Dr.Wendy Wong , Dr. Cherry Guo and Dr. Tina Lee the honor of participating in the “Promoting the Communication of Chinese and Western Medicines in Hong Kong – Lung Cancer Symposium.” This symposium, funded by the Cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation through the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s Professional Services Agreement Support Scheme, provides a platform for Chinese medicine and Western medicine practitioners to exchange and discuss, aiming to promote integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment in Hong Kong and offer cancer patients more diverse treatment options.

This symposium brought together leading experts in Chinese and Western medicine from various fields for in-depth exchanges on the latest clinical treatment technologies for lung cancer, the current application of integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment, and various clinical diagnostic methods. The goal is to enhance the standard of integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment in Hong Kong, particularly in the field of lung cancer, by combining the expertise of both sides to explore more medical possibilities for patients together.
