Why Us?

Vision and Values

We are PRO. We provide professional Chinese medicine and integrative health services

Apart from utilizing the four diagnostic methods in Chinese medicine, patients often come to us after seeking conventional diagnoses and treatments. We provide evidence-based treatments derived from clinical trials, best practices, and patient values. Patient safety is paramount, and our treatments are guided by observable reports, such as histopathology, imaging, blood reports, or medication lists. We humbly learn from the latest clinical guidelines, incorporating international, regional, and local guidelines to enhance our services.

Missions

We offer corporate solutions for seamless integration of clinical medical records, knowledge exchange, patient-centered care, high-quality control of Chinese herbal medicine, and efficient patient logistics. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) ensures optimal clinical care. Our focus is on cancer care and women's health, supporting patients transitioning between public and private sectors throughout their symptoms, rehabilitation, or survival journeys.

We collaborate closely with universities, NGOs, and wellness product brands to provide professional advisory consultancy for services, products, and clinical trial protocol development. To promote evidence-based practice, we provide public education in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

In Hong Kong, registered Chinese medicine practitioners adhere to List 1 and 2, which govern the application of 603 herbs. Therefore, the herbs we use are specifically selected based on clinical guidelines for cancer care. We exclusively purchase Chinese herbs from vendors who follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and are associated with top Chinese medicine hospitals.

In conventional treatments, there are three main approaches: chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. Among these categories, immunotherapy has the least impact at the cellular level. However, there is evidence of potential herb-drug interactions between Chinese herbs and chemotherapy agents or targeted therapy. It is crucial for us to cross-check with current databases for herb-drug interactions to ensure the safety of our patients.

To provide the best care, we thoroughly review the latest electronic health records, utilize resources like HA Go and local university databases for herb-drug interactions before prescribing Chinese medicine. This helps us identify any potential interactions in accordance with the regulations of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong. To better protect you, we kindly request that you provide us with a list of medications you are currently taking. This allows us to fulfill our role in safeguarding your well-being to the best of our ability.
