The book 中調乳順:中西醫攜手戰勝乳腺癌大小事 is based on《乳癌瑣碎事 1 的第 1 版》 and 《乳癌瑣碎事 2 中西醫醫知多啲》. It also incorporates relevant Chinese guidelines from 2023, such as 《乳腺癌在中西醫結合診療指南》 and 《乳腺癌術後內分泌治療期中西醫結合診療指南》、《女性不孕症中西醫結合指南》、《子宮腺肌病中西醫結合診療指南》、《慢性急性肝衰竭、慢性腎衰竭中西醫結合診療指南》.
Through the efforts of Dr. Wendy WONG , Tina Lee,Cherry Guo, Chan Chan Kwun Lung , and Dr. Chow Yu Ting, this practical book has been completed, offering a beacon of hope for breast cancer sisters.

This time, the section on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been significantly expanded. It particularly focuses on TCM’s application across different breast cancer subtypes, detailing what Chinese herbal medicines (including those from Hong Kong and Mainland China) are used and their related efficacy. This book is certainly not just about simple medicinal soups or general health regulation. The wisdom of TCM is profound, and there are many TCM experts in Mainland China, so it is relatively easy for people to access various Mainland TCM treatments, such as Chinese herbal injections. It’s possible that within two years, everyone will be able to use related preparations at the Tseung Kwan O Chinese Medicine Hospital.
Currently, the various schools and branches of TCM have not yet established a comprehensive specialist training system. This makes it difficult for both cross-disciplinary healthcare professionals and patients to accurately identify what constitutes a “TCM specialist.”With the Tseung Kwan O Chinese Medicine Hospital set to open in 2025, we hope patients will understand that Hong Kong’s TCM development has taken a significant step forward. To uphold the principles of evidence-based medicine, we must continuously seek innovation and change, grounding our approach in practical realities.
Over the past decade, Western medicine has made rapid, day-by-day advancements in breast cancer treatment drugs. As practitioners, we need to stay informed about the latest clinical research from Mainland China, globally, and Hong Kong to make more accurate judgments. In today’s era of information overload, various technological tools like AI (e.g., DeepSeek, ChatGPT, etc.) are becoming increasingly prevalent. However, the traditional wisdom of TCM is ever-changing and highly variable; its mechanisms differ based on factors such as etiology, disease type, constitution, and climate. Therefore, we still recommend that patients rely on the professional judgment of registered TCM practitioners.

For health preservation and dietary guidance tailored to breast cancer patients, such as preparing soups and making dietary choices, we highly recommend referring to 《乳癌瑣碎事 1 的第 1 版》,《乳癌瑣碎事 2 中西醫醫知多啲》, and《中調乳順:中西醫攜手戰勝乳腺癌大小事》 as reference materials.
Our organization is also delighted that Dr. Cindy generously shared her expertise and that Ms Mary Wong Tin Fung , Chairperson of the Global Chinese Breast Cancer Organizations Alliance, provided the opportunity to collaborate once again. This time, the content will allow for a deeper exploration of the various issues faced by breast cancer patients.
