” 慈善跑動畫首映暨TVB愛心團隊記者會,” co-organized by Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care and Cancer Information Charity Foundation , was successfully held on January 5, 2026.
The event invited registered Chinese medicine practitioners Dr. Wendy Wong and CMP Tina Lee to share their original motivations for participating in the charity initiative—hoping to lead by example and accompany patients through their darkest journey in life. This year marks Dr. Wendy Wong’s third time participating in this 10-kilometer anti-cancer charity run with Cancer information. To echo with patients’ encouragement, Dr. Wong believes that exercise can empower mental and physical health. And this time, she invited all her CMP, medical doctors and sisters of Hong Kong East Cluster to advocate for this purpose of lives. CMP Tina Lee is participating for the first time, went from having no running habits to dedicating time each week for training. Through unwavering perseverance, she successfully completed the 10-kilometer run.

The event also welcomed several artists, including Mandy Lam, Jessica Liu, Roxanne Ho, Nicholas Yuen, Tony Chui, Maggie Wong, and Ray Chung, who shared their preparation experiences for participating in marathons.
Terry Tsang, founder of the popular game Tower of Saviors, was also invited to attend, representing Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care in the marathon. He shared his early experience as a caregiver supporting his young mother through her fight against cancer and expressed his joy in being able to raise funds for patients and help those in need.
During the event, Prof. Thomas Wong Kwok Shing, JP, Chairman of the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care, and Mr. Ng Wai Lun, Founder of the Cancer Information Charity Foundation, shared the philosophy behind their collaboration: leveraging the complementary strengths of both organizations in service domains, resources, and professional expertise to amplify the synergistic power of “1+2,” working together to inject more hope and vitality into society.

The event also premiered the first promotional video for the activity, produced using AI. Through the story of its protagonist overcoming difficulties to participate in this anti-cancer charity run, the video highlights the spirit of perseverance, conveying the message that taking the first brave step can pave the way in life.
We hope everyone can generously contribute and join us in taking action to spread care, bringing more warmth and strength to patients and their families.
