The 50th Anniversary Celebration and Inauguration Ceremony of the 19th Council of the New Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy Promotion Association was successfully held on March 15 at The Peninsula Hong Kong. Dr. Wendy Wong graced the occasion, witnessing and participating in this grand event, joining guests from various sectors in celebrating this new milestone.

The Association has long been dedicated to fostering academic exchange in Chinese medicine and pharmacy, actively organizing seminars, thematic lectures, and large-scale exhibitions of Chinese herbal medicine, while promoting professional collaboration and development between the Chinese medicine sectors in Hong Kong and the mainland. The official opening of the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital this year also marks an important milestone in the city’s Chinese medicine sector as it moves toward greater professionalization and advancement.

Additionally, Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner Chan Kwun Lung Peter participated in the “Passing the Torch” Chinese Medicine Practitioner Mentorship Pilot Program,—a key talent development initiative organized by the Association and funded by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund—fully demonstrating the spirit and practical achievements of passing down Chinese medicine knowledge through generations.
